How InjLens counts
Where every number on this site comes from — and what it leaves out
What InjLens is
InjLens is a live data site for the Injective blockchain: executed trades, open interest, funding, liquidations, wallets and chain statistics, refreshed automatically around the clock. It is a read-only lens — it never takes custody, never executes, and shows only what public sources publish.
Executed volume — the headline number
Volume on InjLens means executed volume: trades that actually settled on-chain, read from the Injective indexer — not the larger figures exchanges display, which count orders and quotes as well as fills.
The indexer reports every trade twice (once for the maker, once for the taker). InjLens counts each trade once, on the taker side. The scan reads the latest 1,000 trades per market, so on very busy days a market's “today” total is a minimum, and the site labels it that way where it matters. Days are counted in UTC.
Open interest and funding
Open interest is the sum of INJ perpetual positions across eight exchanges (Binance, Bybit, Bitget, OKX, MEXC, Gate, KuCoin, Hyperliquid), read from each venue's public API. The combined figure covers the venues InjLens can read — some smaller venues are not included, so treat it as a floor, not the global total.
Funding rates are normalized to a per-8-hour basis before they are averaged; the headline funding figure is weighted by each venue's open interest. The long/short split is weighted the same way, across only the venues that publish an account ratio — the site always says how many venues that is.
Liquidations
Liquidations are recorded directly from the Binance, Bybit and OKX liquidation streams, around the clock, since November 5, 2026. There is no liquidation history before that date, and a “24h” figure is labelled partial until a full day has been recorded. Other venues' liquidations are not captured.
Wallets: two sources, labelled
A wallet profile combines two sources, and each module says which one it came from. The Indexer provides today's executed trades, live positions and balances — the present tense. The Archiver provides historical profit-and-loss — the past tense. When the two seem to disagree (for example, no executed trades today but a PnL history), both can be right: they measure different things.
The PnL leaderboard is the Archiver's board of top gainers only, capped at 25 wallets. It is not a full ranking and there is no losers board — absence from it means only “not in today's top gainers”.
The counterparty graph has two layers. Trades are today's executed pairs from the scan above. Transfers are bank sends between wallets, read from the chain's explorer index and kept on a rolling 24-hour window — this is what brings wallets that never trade on the orderbook (bridges, plain sends) into the graph. INJ transfers are valued at the INJ price when recorded and bridged USDT at face value; transfers of any other token count as transfers without a dollar figure.
Prices, TVL and the rest
The INJ price comes from CoinGecko, cross-checked against the on-chain oracle prices the scan collects per market. Protocol TVL comes from DefiLlama; protocol figures overlap (one protocol's TVL can include another's), so InjLens never sums them into a “share of chain” percentage. Chain statistics — staking, burn, fees, transactions — come from the Injective LCD and indexer.

Tracked wallets are stored in your browser only. There is no account and no server copy: the list does not follow you to another device or browser, and clearing site data removes it.
